open call for artists
Sandstone Gallery’s Guest Artist Room is booked for the year 2024. We will be taking reservations for 2025 beginning on March 15, 2024. Please submit your website and bio for your proposed show to Lynn@lynnwelker.com after March 15. There is a fee for the privilege to exhibit on Historic Gallery Row in our beautiful contemporary gallery.
Sandstone is accepting applications from artists to exhibit their work as guest in the gallery for select periods of time. Our beautiful Skylight Room in the center of the gallery is dedicated to a large series of Guest Artist’s work, curated by the guest. Guest artists must hand deliver and install their work on the designated date. There is no storage space available.
Guest Artists are chosen based on their professional presentation, quality and skill in their medium, use of design principles, and how well they complement the work of the nine Southern California artists we represent. Whether you are networking, applying for a project, or submitting your work for an art competition or gallery, listing a show in a well established gallery like ours is helpful. It is also important to have a place where you can direct people to see your work in person.
