| Sandstone Gallery is dedicated entirely to contemporary fine art, featuring a variety of abstract works by established Southern California artists. Founded in 1981 by Marge Chapman, Sandstone Gallery is the oldest gallery on historic Gallery Row. The building reflects the beauty and character of Laguna Beach in the 1940's, with its original shake shingles and home-like atmosphere. Since its inception, Sandstone has presented only original works of art including oil, acrylic, watercolor, monotype, pastel, sculpture, mixed media and digital art. Featured artists are Marge Chapman, KL Heagen, Howard Hitchcock, Mada Leach, Sunny Kim, Anne Moore, Marjorie Sanders and Lynn Welker. |
