Nancy Mendoza, an award winning artist and a native of Orange County, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of California, Berkeley, with an emphasis in art. She then studied at Laguna Beach School of Art with Roger Armstrong, Ray Jacob and Sueo Serisawa. While attending the Silvermine School of Art in Connecticut, she developed her skills in figure drawing with Pat Warfield and continues to participate in Sandra Trapesso’s figure workshop.
She has exhibited at the Ratcliff-Williams Gallery in Sedona, Arizona, and has been featured in numerous group shows in Connecticut and California. She shows in Laguna Beach galleries and her work is in private collections in the United States, Canada, Europe and Latin America. Nancy, a lifelong Big Bear summer local, now lives permanently in the Valley with her husband Joe and is presently showing in “The Gallery” in Big Bear Village.
