Judy Laschober grew up in Southern California, which offered her a wonderful opportunity to develop her skills as an artist. She attended Pomona College with a scholarship in art and completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at UCLA. Upon graduation she spent a year of study in Japan, where she developed a lifelong love of the art and culture. Through the years, watercolor has become her medium of choice and has been recognized by a National Watercolor Society award. Her work has been exhibited in galleries and juried shows throughout Los Angeles and Orange counties.

“Watercolor provides the artist the freedom to express the rhythm and flow of the natural world with little restraint. White paper, left blank, becomes the creation of magical light in empty spaces. With these paintings, I hope to capture a moment of wonder found in the beauty of nature."
